The HEDLER FlashSoftScrim significantly expands the possible uses of the MaxiSun: through use, the shadow transition edge becomes wider and more flowing, the core shadow becomes a little lighter, but remains clearly defined.
The characteristics of the reflector are largely retained, the changes are subtle but noticeable. The reflection on smooth or reflective surfaces appears more homogeneous and "calmer". The emphasis on texture is reduced somewhat, the colors look slightly more muted.
In general, it is recommended to use it on difficult surfaces or if the basic hardness of the MaxiSun is to be "softened" a little.
